I have been in the healthcare system for 16 years, and I have been an adjunct faculty member at the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing for many years. I have been in the mental health field for so long and, I ministered to myself, that I might as well treat and prescribe medication, so I ended up going back to school to obtain my certificate as a licensed nurse practitioner to help more in our community needs.
